Jayson & Carrie Whelpley

Carrie and I are wrapping things up here in Ocean City. Last night we assigned the students that will replace us in leading the Bible studies that we lead.

Tomorrow night we’ll (the whole staff team) will be announcing the student Project Directors and handing the control of the project off to them. We’re excited because so many of them are such great leaders and are fully capable of leading this group to reach the international students, co-workers and families that populate this island during the summer.

We’ll have some full stories coming up when we get out of here and have more time. Thank you for all of your prayers.

Also, please be in prayer for my (Jayson’s) family. It is getting close to the end with my grandmother and her pancreatic cancer; pray for comfort for her and for God’s hand to work in the hearts of my family through this time.

Here we are in Ocean City, MD for summer project with 28 students (including Kara, who you can read about in this month’s prayer letter).
